What you will learn:
- Safe isolation procedures and equipment (single and three-phase)
- Continuity testing of protective conductors and ring final circuits
- Insulation resistance testing
- Polarity checks (single and three-phase)
- Earth fault loop impedance measurement
- Prospective fault current determination
- Phase sequence verification
- RCD and functional testing
- Real-time completion of inspection and testing documentation
Requirements
Eligibility & Entry Requirements
- Must have a current understanding of IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition, BS:7671)
- Basic knowledge of electrical science, principles, and experience in installation work and testing
- Proficiency in literacy and numeracy
- Learners must be 18-years of age or older
