Course Outline
What you will learn:
- What to expect on the day of your assessment
- Overview of all assessment sections and candidate requirements
- How the assessments are conducted
- Hints, tips, and guidance on common mistakes
- Revision on risk assessments and safe isolation (single-phase and three-phase)
- Revision on wiring diagrams, two-way & intermediate wiring, DOL starter terminations, S-plan heating, SWA & SY glanding, main protective bonding, safety circuits, and cat5 terminations
- Containment fabrication, inspection, testing, certification, and fault finding
- Key aspects of BS:7671
Requirements
Eligibility & Entry Requirements
- Candidates must have passed the relevant technical certificates and/or NVQs
- Proficiency in Maths, Science and English
- Learners must be at least 16 years of age
