How the Assessment Works

The qualification is assessed by a City & Guilds online multiple-choice exam at the end of the day. Successful candidates will be awarded the City & Guilds Level 3 Award BS:7671 2018 18th Edition – 4th Amendment — recognised throughout the electrical industry.

  • Have an understanding of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and their application.
  • Bring photographic ID (for City & Guilds registration and exam verification).
  • Provide their own copy of the current BS 7671:2018 + Amendment 4 regulations book (Orange Book) for reference.
