What You Will Do
On the day of the course, delegates will:
- Review key content from the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (focused on areas most relevant to the exam).
- Work through exam preparation materials delivered by experienced trainers.
- Sit the City & Guilds 18th edition – 4th amendment multiple-choice exam under supervised conditions.
Assessment
How the Assessment Works
The qualification is assessed by a City & Guilds online multiple-choice exam at the end of the day. Successful candidates will be awarded the City & Guilds Level 3 Award BS:7671 2018 18th Edition – 4th Amendment — recognised throughout the electrical industry.

Candidates should:
- Have an understanding of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and their application.
- Bring photographic ID (for City & Guilds registration and exam verification).
- Provide their own copy of the current BS 7671:2018 + Amendment 4 regulations book (Orange Book) for reference.
